37:37 "ultimately the goal here is to have a combat system that works for every version of Minecraft" It’s interesting that they are taking this approach now given that there are big differences in the two main versions. I’d love to see them eventually match up without Java losing it technical edge.

I play on Mac, and I had the tearing thing before 1.14 when I moved side-side, but it’s gotten better, and I didn’t notice anything much worse in 1.14.3.

Hey Pixelriffs and Joel, I am having trouble with world lag almost all the time in Java Edition. The highest it gets is 20 fps and my cap is at 60. Is this normal for a single player world, or do I just have a terrible laptop.

about the chair thing, i think there is an example that says it all.
in the hermicraft server, they used a pig with a saddle under a trap door as a chair.
i mean, would anyone do something like that in any other world?

My concerns/constructive feedback are the following:

    – If Mojang increases hostile/neutral mob health, this would make, for example, mob drop farms that much more difficult to construct (in other words, they would have to be taller). In addition, the durability of our weapons would decreased at a much increased rate compared to before

    – If Mojang decreases our weapon damage, wouldn’t that theoretically affect PvP in a negative manner?

What I propose is increased monster defense and increased weapon durability. Either that, or if they have to gain increased health, hostile/neutral mobs should have much decreased fall resistance.

I just want to say that for most game code, programmers separate different parts of code from each other. I can’t say for sure because idk too much about java, but when I code I don’t have problems like this

Hey Joel and pix !! Loved the conversation and I wanted to ask if you guys could give your opinion on "pirated" minecraft launchers and so forth

Well I don’t reckon the issue is Mojang being lazy and not doing enough work.
