I have been wanting to make a stove cover for my mom and grandma. They live together and they keep putting those old lady burner covers on their stove and it looks so tacky. This is perfect for them! You helped me find a way! I also love the large fork and spoon!

    I love the stovetop cover!!!

  25. tgayer1 on January 10, 2021 at 11:47 pm

I’ve never heard of a stove cover. That seems like a real fire hazard. I was always told you never leave anything on a stovetop that’s flammable…pizza box, towel, etc.

  26. Shelly Lemons on January 10, 2021 at 11:48 pm

I love essential oils. I have Rheumatoid Disease and have nerve damage. When I have pain I use the oils in coconut carrier oil in my bath and it really helps another bonus is it helps my nails grow.

  27. The Owens Witches on January 10, 2021 at 11:48 pm

Do you prefer the cricut or the silhouette? I have that same spoon amd fork my mom had them in the 70s.

  28. GiGi Place on January 10, 2021 at 11:49 pm

My daughter got me a cricut a few months ago & I’ve got to figure out how to use it I’ve wanted one forever but now that I’ve got one I’m kind of intimidated by it .

  37. Linda Gerard on January 11, 2021 at 12:00 am

I love the tiki spoon and fork. When I taught music, the giant used those utensils in Jack and the Beanstalk.

  38. Marina S on January 11, 2021 at 12:00 am

Hi Kristin. Love these DIYs, been wanting to try a stove cover for a long time. Yours is beautiful. I bought a bunch of those Christmas cutting boards at Walmart during the holiday clearance – question: did you sand off the design on the front or just flip it and used the back? I haven’t tried it yet but I am hoping to get that painted image off the front.

  39. Vivian S on January 11, 2021 at 12:01 am

  42. Lisa Good on January 11, 2021 at 12:05 am

I’m making this stove cover for sure! Wonderful job on everything!

My daughter and I got the Circut Explore 2 bundle that has everything in it but the Easy Press. Honestly, we haven’t done anything with it yet because it is a bit intimidating. I love these projects. I’d only need to buy the chalkboard paint. I got ten brand new pallets before Christmas to raise my outside decorations up some. My son manages one of the pallet company, they’re amazing!

  49. Dana Hall on January 11, 2021 at 12:09 am

Great job on the noodle board, it looks like real wood!

  50. Vickie Blackwell on January 11, 2021 at 12:11 am

Omg! I just took down some of my mother-n-laws wall decor and she has the same fork and spoon. I was going to give them away. Maybe I’ll change my mind. 🤔 Thank you
