I am not an amateur baker, so my opinion may not make a difference. I have a Cheftronic 5.5 qt bowl mixer and I love it. I find myself wanting to use it more than my KA mixer. All of the issues experienced in this video, I have yet to experience with my model. I notice I get a silkier and smoother swiss meringue buttercream (my model doesn’t rock while I whip my egg whites at a higher speed) compared to my KA. I have had my Cheftronic for a year and half and it still runs great with heavy use.

It looks like he already had a favorite before he started testing.. Even the top brand mixers don’t tell you which speed to use so that’s not something to really rate a mixer on.. Good advertisement

I know u did this for convenience sake, and I also know this is too much to ask but for future review videos can u show one clear shot unedited so we can see the process ourselves (I wanna know how many times I truly have to scrape down the bowl)

I’ve been trying to decide between the Hamilton Beach 63391 and the Cuisinart SM-50. I like the Cuisinart better, but the HB is half the price and seems to do an adequate job for my needs.

Unless you can get the Hamilton Beach model tax free and no shipping, you actually spend more than $100, unless there’s some kind of insane discount to keep it under $100

I bought the Hamilton Beach, it fell apart in under 12 months, the warranty isn’t very good either, they wanted me to return the thing at my cost.

Thanks for the review !! I had my reservations about buying this mixer but now I know it will be a good investment for me , as I don’t bake very often .

A video I would like to see is one where the drive belt breaks and how the search for a replacement belt results in failure. So before buying any belt driven stand mixer you should do a search for available replacement parts or check you tube for how to replace stand mixer belt. Only a few popular stand mixers have available replacement parts.

No experienced home cook would ever put a brownie mix into a stand mixer. Brownie batter must be gently folded and mixed with a spatula or spoon to prevent the brownies from becoming tough.

There are no double-beater like on most other models? How do you mash potatoes?. I just bought one that will be here in a few days. I thought I would get a little knowledge on how to use it.
