A lot of these are just variations on a theme….drawer space is far more valuable than a paper towel rack, of which there are oodles of options. The cookbook holder is a good idea.
Here’s one for smaller kitchens with limited counter space:
Obtain the countertop sink cut-out from a reno project- some kitchen companies will give them to you free or for very little money- and use it as a large cutting-board on top of your stove or over your sink.
This is the piece of rectangular/oblong countertop material, such as laminate, that is glued to the base that the installers cut out in order to drop in a new sink. Simply sand the edge and voilร , extra space. They come in various sizes. I have two larger ones. Simply wipe off and store in the narrow space between your fridge and the wall.

My favourite one ….. start labelling your spices / kitchen items, then you can tell which is which. Duh๐Ÿ˜จ it scares me, common sense!

It would be a drag having to get a ladder to reach up to pots and pans that areย hung up high.ย ย I wasn’t enthralled with the tips this time.ย  Also who would want to waste a drawer on a paper towel holder when it could just sit on a paper towel holder on the bench.

  22. Shawna Ginther on November 13, 2020 at 9:26 pm

The cans need to have the rims covered so you do not cut yourself when retrieving your utensils.
