Great video for people with limited space! There’s nothing like the sound and smell of an old fashioned stovetop coffee percolator to help wake you up in the morning. I have found that tervis insulated glasses and coffee mugs work really well for us. I buy them on amazon in sets of 4 for $20-30. Tall glasses for mixed drinks and beer, and shorter glasses for wine. Also, a service for 4 of melamine plates and bowls take up little room and do not break easily. However, I do cheat with pots and pans. I have about 6 pieces of nonstick T-fal which makes cooking and cleanup so easy.

Being a 70 year old great grandmother, I must add some valued information for you to ponder. Having seen many of my friends who used non-stick and aluminum products to put hot food or drink in led to disastrous cancerous health in their 60’s. If you can change to stainless steel that would benefit you and the cast iron is perfect. Check out cooking items that are healthy to use…check with naturalpatic sites that may give you ideas. I love your way of thinking and I love you u tube. Just be careful…sweet girl.

  9. Sean Roche on August 27, 2020 at 2:50 am

Great video, but do yourself a favor and get rid of that non-stick teflon pot/pan set. They appear scratched and are leaching teflon into your food, aside from the scratched parts flaking into your food.

  39. Lass-in Angeles on August 27, 2020 at 3:24 am

You are 100% right about not getting anything breakable. Nice coffee press but too large for solo travelers. I use a small Palm insulated steel press I bought for $10 at Home Goods. REI is outrageously priced. You can get the same type at Goodwill or Target or Walmart. The Thermos Brand mugs and flasks will keep your beverage hot or cold for 12 hrs! REI and Starbucks have great design but poor heating ability and are made in the same shop in China anyway,
Towel holder looked very nice! Must check that out. I bought a clever magnetic holder from Harbor Freight if anyone has a steel shelf it can stick to. I would not use cast iron pans – too heavy in an RV. Good stainless pans top quality from Home Goods. Avoid the thin nesting pan sets. Too thin and the food burns. They are okay for backpacking but not everyday cooking. Teflon is a death sentence – not if but when. Ingesting Teflon is a slow rat poison for your body. So is aluminum which most are made from. Aluminum salts leach out and are toxic. Stainless steel or cast iron only.

Great video! I want to know what that was in your sink? First time RV owner and i bought and older rig, so not sure what is supposed to be in one LOL

    Nice video

  42. Cheryl Miller on August 27, 2020 at 3:31 am

The electric pressure cooker can be used for many different things including baking and it’s super fast. Plus you can cook a whole meal at once. I’m not mentioning a brand. They all work well. The buttons aren’t needed as you’ll just use the manual time anyway. The “most popular” brand doesn’t like to share the limelight with any other brands including utensils that help make the product even friendlier and I personally think that’s ridiculous.

Great video. Another comment for your toilet paper. I use regular tp because it’s cheaper, but I put a garbage bin next to the toilet. Kinda like for baby wipe and such. Also dawn is amazing on cleaning rubber. It’s a good alternative for your grey tank seals and black tank seals. Anything rubber it’s super safe on. Then use your lube for after. Awesome tips here though.
