By doing this renovation, how much did the property increase in value or how much did it add to your rental cost?

  10. AdultBeginner on August 2, 2020 at 11:38 pm

I wouldn’t consider this a real DIY, you have to have skills for this installation. Good job though

Where does one start to learn and do this stuff? Brittany, you had construction or interior design experience before?

This DIY looks amazing. Great job!
In the video you said you like to draw out a concept which is great. Do you or have you hired out an architect or contractor to assist in determining a layout idea or if walls are load-bearing? What are your thoughts? Thank you and awesome job!!!

This is so helpful!!! Please do more videos like this, it makes the sweat equity seem less daunting and helps for ballparking what different looks cost to achieve in just materials. I love the way you narrated everything and discussed specific $$. GREAT Airbnb rehab!

  29. Carlos Arce on August 3, 2020 at 12:00 am

very cool. much better than before. How long did it take you and was it only you and the other 2 persons that appear on the video?. i guess the 3200 do not include the appliances.

  30. Dude on August 3, 2020 at 12:04 am

Love the video but there is nothing free about demolition. 😏

That construction debris needs to go to a dump that accepts construction material. That involves multiple trips to the dump unless you have a big enough truck, uhaul rental if you don’t have a truck, or a dumpster rental. Then of course the dispose fee.

  39. Fluffyskyfur on August 3, 2020 at 12:15 am

Demolition is not free if you have to pay somebody else to haul off what you took out. And your total price doesn’t include cost of appliances, new floor, new windows. Can we please have full transparency next time?

  40. akhil baby on August 3, 2020 at 12:17 am

Its awesome and in just 3200. How many day’s did this take. If I had to hire a handy man or contractor how much does it cost.

  45. Steve Elling on August 3, 2020 at 12:22 am

Sorry, $3,200 for total rehab and they installed new stainless appliances? That fridge alone is at least $1,200.
