When the styles change in 2 years are you going to rip it out again???

  2. UchihABitachi on September 27, 2020 at 8:15 am

Honestly I like his new kitchen better. The tiling on the kitchen wall all the way up to the window ceiling might be a bit odd (as they usually stop wall tiling at the base of the cabinets), but its definitely something new to get used to.

Bro next time Beer and Pizza or BBQ and have a demo party… You would have been done in an 1hr.

  4. Airfloat on September 27, 2020 at 8:19 am

Bread box? 😂 It’s an appliance garage.

  5. EVAN DONAHUE on September 27, 2020 at 8:20 am

did you 7 years of bad luck?

  6. Isaiah Rosa on September 27, 2020 at 8:20 am

Kudos to all the DIYers out there!!! Good job!!! You saved a ton of money!

  7. Benji Mcdowell on September 27, 2020 at 8:21 am

Everybody saying should have kept the old kitchen we all have our opinions but these people did not and why can we not say good job on the hard work of their decision? Good job guys

  8. Geordo1960 on September 27, 2020 at 8:22 am

“What were you thinking” when you smashed that mirror, LOL!?

  9. Hassan Khan on September 27, 2020 at 8:23 am

I think it looked alot better before, then after becaue 80s were the best times and era, and this guy it being too picky on small things, some of these things looked good. Then after which looks cheap.

I give you so much credit! I’m exhausted just watching this. I demoed a small galley kitchen and had my tiny kitchen remodeled and it was an absolute nightmare. I can’t even relate to doing this with a kitchen as large as yours. Amazing job. You should be extremely proud.

You come across pretty pompous to the older generation. Cringe. Try a more tasteful approach to criticism.

  12. PthaloGreen2 on September 27, 2020 at 8:31 am

That was a pretty nice kitchen. I would’ve salvaged a lot of it.

  13. Christopher Jarvis on September 27, 2020 at 8:31 am

Zero wall insulation. Kitchen needed updated.

  14. Shiloh 1 on September 27, 2020 at 8:31 am

    Omg that’s a mess, a lot of work!! 😱

  15. Titus on September 27, 2020 at 8:32 am

plaid shorts, just one of those those questions that begs the question, chchchklicklic, what were they thinking? Dude double dated his video.

  16. Rozona Tesfu on September 27, 2020 at 8:35 am

We bought a house to that was old but not that old it does not even look old but u do not want to go to the attic

  17. Big BananaCongolese on September 27, 2020 at 8:39 am

Did you do this with a permit? Like if you don’t will that affect how much value the house will gain from making a new kitchen?

  18. chevy 56Belair on September 27, 2020 at 8:39 am

Nice, how much did that cost? What state are you in ?

  19. Stefan Iltchev on September 27, 2020 at 8:41 am

My God people. What do you like about that old kitchen so much. Its hideous.

  20. Sverre Munthe on September 27, 2020 at 8:46 am

I can’t handle more of these renovation videos of yours. When you grow up, and get dry behind your ears you will cry bitter tears of what you’ve been doing. Young people who move directly into houses way too large for them have a tendency of destroying the house, sadly, because that house was really beautiful, before you went crazy in there. 😭

  21. Maternity Maternity on September 27, 2020 at 8:48 am

Amazing. This beautiful kitchen. you rocked it.

  22. Scott Wiley on September 27, 2020 at 8:48 am

I love how clean your worksite is. I’m a cleaning nut so I appreciate it.

  23. Michael Jennings on September 27, 2020 at 8:48 am

I watched this video days ago but still can’t get over it. You ripped out a very well built kitchen and replaced it with a cheaper one. Why not just update the fascade? I’d love to find second hand cabinetry like this. So much cheap soulless flat pack rubbish today

  24. Wells on September 27, 2020 at 8:49 am

So glad you got rid of that old crappy kitchen and made a nice one. Drives me insane that people actually think the old kitchen was “nice”.

  25. Dale Griffin on September 27, 2020 at 8:49 am

What a great retro kitchen…that you ruined.

  26. Woodrow Muse on September 27, 2020 at 8:50 am

    Beautiful!

  27. Francis Soriano on September 27, 2020 at 8:51 am

1:04 i busted out laughing. it’s a common mistake: everyone thinks that’s a breadbox when (apparently) that’s not its purpose. it’s a tambour. people (used to?) put small kitchen appliances in it so that it behaves sort of like a storage space for them. it prevents the cluttering of the countertop :]

  28. Susan Harrod on September 27, 2020 at 8:53 am

I think the first kitchen was beautiful

  29. 2bless8 Arrh on September 27, 2020 at 8:54 am

The kitchen was nice before he gutted it. I liked this "aged" kitchen. I would have and could have lived with it.

  30. Gabriela Ibarra on September 27, 2020 at 8:55 am

    The kitchen was really nice

  31. MsPeacefulmind1 on September 27, 2020 at 8:58 am

I liked the old kitchen 🤷🏾‍♀️

  32. B on September 27, 2020 at 8:59 am

Someone was probably sick of the old kitchen? I get tired of things after a while and want something like … really new. Like, an entire renovation type of new. I think the new kitchen is awesome! 😀

  33. Shannon Hall on September 27, 2020 at 8:59 am

oh my god. i loved the original. so much potential to keep the original character of the home. but that’s just my taste, it’s your home and i’m sure you love the outcome of your reno!

  34. M. M. R. A. on September 27, 2020 at 9:00 am

Masha allah you are very strong

  35. klfmc rjn on September 27, 2020 at 9:02 am

    😂😂😂 @ 2:36.

  36. MrDawa on September 27, 2020 at 9:03 am

Probably the people who remodeled the kitchen in the 80s said the same thing about the 50 year old kitchen.

  37. Kayla Karnage on September 27, 2020 at 9:04 am

I’m sad you didn’t keep the tile mural, it was Gorgeous! And would have given the new kitchen character and a sense of what the kitchen used to be.

  38. C on September 27, 2020 at 9:05 am

    That’s a big kitchen

  39. civilmel619 on September 27, 2020 at 9:05 am

You do impressive work, especially for a young guy starting out. However, I see you "horsing" around those heavy, bulky appliances which can lead to back injuries as you age. Take care of your back, use dollies to move anything heavy. Trust me, your body will thank you later.

  40. Vickie Dreamin on September 27, 2020 at 9:06 am

Our house is like this, my husband spends hours doing the same thing with the electric. He had wired the kitchen and mater bath together so when using the small potable heater in the bathroom it would trip the microwave. It has taken us years to redo a lot of this. I wish he could get it done like ya’ll are doing. Very cool videos!

  41. Bluesrain cancun on September 27, 2020 at 9:06 am

    Wonderful job!

  42. James Martello on September 27, 2020 at 9:09 am

I can’t wait to binge watch the rest of these videos, but first I have to offer some heartfelt accolades! I really felt sorry for you at the beginning of this video, admired your chutzpah at taking on this project, and marveled at your saintly disposition during the demolition. I genuinely would not be capable of any of this and am truly envious, but that last clip of the video showing the finished results brought out a spontaneous GASP from me! There just was no being prepared for that. I am AMAZED! WELL DONE! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

  43. Lauren Southgate on September 27, 2020 at 9:10 am

Wow that gives me hope for my demolished kitchen.

  44. The White on September 27, 2020 at 9:11 am

Gotta hope wives everywhere don’t find out about this channel or they’ll be saying “but that guy on YouTube can do it!…”

  45. Kelsey Macbeth on September 27, 2020 at 9:11 am

Y’all are saying you love the old kitchen. It’s not your house

  46. Shade Light on September 27, 2020 at 9:11 am

That older kitchen was beautiful… I just would have replaced the appliances the lighting 😔

  47. Z D on September 27, 2020 at 9:13 am

I wish I had a kitchen as charming as that. I would have painted bottom cabinets and updated lights and appliances and maybe that window. And that’s it. The bread box is cute. Lol The glass cabinets were gorgeous. My kitchen is from the 70s. Just a gross era. Lol

  48. Kirk Johnson on September 27, 2020 at 9:14 am

I give this kid all the credit for being brave. It looks a 100 times better than the 80’s kitchen

  49. #MissKingdomVII on September 27, 2020 at 9:14 am

Wait the built in can opener can stay. 😂

  50. Aaron Hyde on September 27, 2020 at 9:14 am
