When you are painting a vase-do you just paint the outside? How do you normally treat the inside?

  2. Melissa Pena on December 6, 2020 at 10:03 pm

Aaaah, so many good ideas. Thank you!

  3. That Girl Netty on December 6, 2020 at 10:03 pm

Amazing mirror transformation. Beveled mirror for $14.00 and the transformation is right on. The table is unreal I can’t believe how real those tubes look.

  4. Linda Fox on December 6, 2020 at 10:03 pm

I like the tubes on the table yet I’m wondering where people’s legs will go if they want to sit up to it. Sitting sideways on a chair and turning your head toward another person is hard on the (my) neck.

  5. Anna 369 on December 6, 2020 at 10:07 pm

Why don t you cover the cardboar tubes? The result will appear smoother

  6. House Pimping on December 6, 2020 at 10:10 pm

    good ideas

  7. TheBonnieMonroeShow on December 6, 2020 at 10:10 pm

MaCenna you are just a blessing girl. You are just made for this. Annointed. Brilliant.

  8. Barbara Darling on December 6, 2020 at 10:12 pm

This was a table you purchased was in many stores. The object was sold to be covered by table clothes. Table is particle board would not be seen. I think the table would not be seen.

  9. Debra Jackson on December 6, 2020 at 10:16 pm

That was a great ideal for the table, turned out so well. Color choice was super an looks so good with the chairs, in that area.

  10. GjArtStudio on December 6, 2020 at 10:16 pm

So much talking… bla bla bla

  11. Jo Prent on December 6, 2020 at 10:17 pm

  12. Pauline Matu on December 6, 2020 at 10:17 pm

  13. Donna charm on December 6, 2020 at 10:18 pm

Thank you for theses great ideas so cool💞

  14. Intermittent Energy on December 6, 2020 at 10:19 pm

I would like to you add in some clear glass vases so it would lighten up the space. It seems so thick and heavy. Don’t take this this the wrong way. I love what you do and you are very inspiring. (Can you come up with a way to take a clear vase and incorporate some pottery to it, so that part of the vase is clear and part is not?

  15. Tanamara Queen on December 6, 2020 at 10:19 pm

Lol um whos we cuz me still while pinky marble haha I still love it and still see it on instagram a lot trust we arent moving on. I do see trends are moving more towards the rustic to chic earthy, minimalist trends again.

    Beautiful!!!!!’ I love it

  18. Myra Alkins on December 6, 2020 at 10:24 pm

Just watched this video. On the paper tube table, if you repainted it with that baking powder paint it would look like concrete or some kind of pottery.. it would also cover the paper roll lines.. such a cool idea though.

Watching this super late but if you have the Vincent Van Gogh art book I’m willing to buy if you ever want to get rid of it he’s my favorite 😍

I was hesitating to comment because we are here for the fun, and I really love your videos, but two things made me cringe a little and one of them needs to be mentioned for your health: you seem to use spray paints very often. As much as it is convenient and fast, it is also very dangerous for your health and lungs. I used to work a lot with spray paints for cars when I was younger, I was using them in home decor, but I stopped when one of my mentors, got very sick and almost died. So, I don’t want to drag everybody down here, but risk of Coronavirus + spray paints, it’s a lot for one person… The second point is from a more professional point of view: your black patina on the gold mirror is water based. Usually, we start with what is water based, then we can tackle what is maybe alcohol or acetone based and the oil based always comes last. The problem here is that your black patina won’t last long, because it is water based on spray paints which are or acetone, or alcohol based or maybe even oil based? I don’t know the brand you are using. I would have used a fine art oil paint diluted with Turpentine for example, it is so much easier to apply and it lasts.
If you do that just for one video or a photo shooting, that’s fine, but you seem to keep or use for other projects your creations, so I suppose you want them to last?
Beside this, I admire your ability to cut the wood and create very nice and effective things. It’s just the French ex-painter in home decor that I was who reacts here. I suppose we can all learn from each other…

  36. Deborah Falzone on December 6, 2020 at 10:42 pm

The little round squat vase would look better painted with a flat paint with baking soda added. It would give a nicer authentic look

  37. Robin DeStasio on December 6, 2020 at 10:43 pm

Love these:) I would spray the cardboard tubes with the faux stone spray paint, would hide the cardboard texture, love that table 🙂

  43. Natasha Davis on December 6, 2020 at 10:51 pm

Lol, I have those brass swans too but a tiny bit smaller than yours, exact poses though. They were my grandmas and I love them!

  44. readbookswatchhorror movies on December 6, 2020 at 10:54 pm

Glad I’m finally trending lol. I’ve been collecting old brass things for over 2 yrs. I do find some pieces here and there in Goodwill or thrift stores but most has come from estate sales and vintage/antique stores. I love it. It’s sprinkled throughout my home.

  45. As i Am on December 6, 2020 at 10:55 pm

  46. ScouserGirl 2015 on December 6, 2020 at 10:55 pm

that swan that you showed, does that come with another swan with it’s head down? because that swan is the same as the one that my mum got from my nan before she died. love from Liverpool, England xxx

  47. Jess Pape-Green on December 6, 2020 at 10:56 pm

You know, I have really disliked the "a bunch of rods" look for tables, planters, etc. I have not liked the other DIYs I’ve seen in this style. I’m pretty sure you even did a different one somewhat recently? I didn’t even like your inspo pic, tbh. But DANG this DIY looks SO MUCH BETTER. It’s the only one of this trend that I have liked. And I think the different sizes of rods, in a sort of pattern, the way they came down over the base so you didn’t really see the base, I think it gave it all a much more "polished" look that the other examples just didn’t have. Goos job!

I don’t see her as an Olsen sister. I just looked up pictures of them, and one of them always looks surprised, and the other looks sad.😂 I just can’t see her as an Olsen 😂🤔
