Rustoleum came out with cabinet transformations…offers 24 different colors and 4 step process…i did our home including bathrooms for $160.00 you can scrub them…have had it for 5 years now…did top ones in birch color. Bottom ones in dark gray…love them to death.

How beautiful!! I want to do this to update my dark walnut 70’s kitchen. How long has it been and how has all of this held up? Do counters scratch up? Any special care? Cabinets look awesome. I was thinking of chalk painting my cabinets. But now I’m wondering on durability. We will be selling our house in the next two years.

What a fantastic job and transformation. Everything looks so fresh and updated. Only thing I would do is paint the kitchen window white to blend with the cabinets. Looks a little outdated with a the other stuff you did. Does anyone else agree?

  29. Ronald Longerbeam on October 30, 2020 at 7:53 am

    Paint the window white too

Wow! You are living proof that you can create a beautiful kitchen with a small budget. I am a new home owner, looking to add some decorative elements to the builder grade finishes in my kitchen. This video gave me so much inspiration!

I do have a quick question: how many packs of the peel & stick tile did you use? Your kitchen layout is very similar to mine.
