DIY Modern Mini-Kitchen / Kitchenette Build || Home Improvement

Today on Modern Builds: How to build a fresh, contemporary plywood studio kitchen that packs in a lot of function in a small space. I built this tiny kitchen in the room that I renovated from an Attic into a Home Theater room for my parents last year. This would be great for entertainment rooms, a studio apartment, tiny house, or cabin. I’ll have free plans below if you’re interested in making something similar to get more utility out of a small space. Thanks for watching and supporting as always!

I’m surprised at how east building cabinets is. I have been worrying about the price of my tiny house kitchen but knowing how to build them myself will save a ton of money and space.

Been watching your video on the movie room build, then the movie poster build and now this video. Really loving the videos. However (not a plumber myself but advice taken from a plumber youtuber), I’d recommend against using flexible piping and shark bite fittings. First, flexible piping makes it easier for clogs to form due to the grooved/zig-zag nature of flexible piping. Secondly, shark bite fittings may be easy to use, but they have a high failure rate and only recommend using them in emergency plumbing situations. You said you’re not a plumber and neither am I, so thought I’d pass on the knowledge I have gained the youtuber (who is called Roger Wakefield if you want to learn more or anything).

Wow man ! What was it ???? Mind blowing. I am interested in carpentry work n use to watch your diy…I need to make it but I don’t have tools . How much it would cost to buy basic required tools to cut, drill, n to do other stuff? …not to setup a workshop but for basic stuff.

  29. Tyler McBeth on December 30, 2020 at 10:55 pm

Do you do all of your own staging for your “after” shots? The staging always looks so good. Where did you learn?

  30. Dkaira Atavia on December 30, 2020 at 10:57 pm

Do we have to set it up on feet or like the bottom layer that you see most kitchen cabinets with? Or it’s fine without?

  31. luv2dance on December 30, 2020 at 10:57 pm
