Very nice layout. My question for the island, did you run it from the side wall to the back of the island. Or did you have to go under the floor and run it to the island from there?
Hey Jeff. What products would you use for a tiny house backsplash? Considering the shifting and moving of a tiny house. Thanks so much!
While you may not absolutely *need* a vent hood, I would want one for steam extraction.
Excellent, Jeff! 🙂 That "Zline" brand looks to be of excellent quality, too! 😉 Thumbs up as always, Joe
Isn’t that a small fridge for 2? No freezer. How about a side be side under the island?
This tiny kitchen is bigger than my kitchen here in korea 😅 and i also have my laundry in the kitchen!
I have a small kitchen and some of these appliances are brilliant!
So how much is the entire set up???
Tiny house? MY 1980’s kitchen is 8 ft long and 7 ft wide in my 900 sq ft duplex!
As someone from the UK originally but now lives in the US – the invisacook and drawer microwave will literally revolutionize how kitchens are designed over there. The counter space gains will be a huge deal. Not to mention the power savings on just standard 15a plugs.
I remember when we went to Japan they have this kind of small appliances. That Z line looks sleek and sexy.
I love how you explain everything, Great job!!
Any videos about turning a covered deck into an addition?
Congrats on having over a million subscribers and thanks for an excellent channel to help us DIY folks! You’re greatly appreciated!
What brand of drill bits do you use?
Induction is great! Specifically as one gets older. The mariners like this method of cooking, maybe insurance does too. Instead of microwave a convection oven?…I can do this and add washer drier too without a dish washer. Thanks
Zline
I am interested in creating an mother in law suite in the lower level. Would this help me partition part of my home?
Here’s my question with this tiny house living thing. And maybe I’m not understanding it or I’m not thinking this out right but, for myself if I was going to live in a small "cramp" space then I’d just buy a travel trailer. You can buy some in good shape for around $12,000 and it has everything already there you know. And it has your water tank and a septic tank. Just throw some solar panels on and done. Some of those tiny houses I’ve seen on HGTV people build them between $20,000 and a $100,000. And I just can’t understand why and I’m constantly saying why.? Why would you spend that much money when a travel trailer is already set up and ready to go practically.
I’m impatiently waiting on that stove top. Do research… isn’t cooking on granite unsafe?
I’d love a kitchen as large as this Tiny kitchen, mine is 7 foot by 11 foot and has 3 doors coming into it.
I need to redo my in-law unit like this!
That’s a nice kitchen actually!
Brilliant video!
Love that stove and microwave that is awesome
This guy is AWESOME. ive watched 100’s of small home and van living vids.
NOT ONE introduced me to this stove idea. This small kitchen is by far the best to replicate. Also very cheap.
Ty bro
@8:56 who needs the machined thread anyway? I’ll make my own
Perfect timing! I’ve been struggling with best kitchen options for my RV remodel!Thank you! Thank you!
These videos are terrrific!
Would this be smart to do in a basement suite?
Are you able to provide details on the cabinets and island – where to get the items and specs? This 8ft mini kitchen will be perfect for my basement remodel
Jeff, I just want to say thank you for all the work you put into your videos; it really shows. I don’t need anything quite this small, but I’ve been trying to figure out how to make the most out of my mom’s condo. It’s freaking tiny. Anyway, love the enthusiasm too. Gonna have to pop out to HD now to buy a sledgehammer. Think she’ll miss her kitchen? 😂
I’ve been watching your channel for a decent amount of time and really enjoy all the content , I’m not to far from you either just down in the smith falls area ! But I think a cool video would be to show off your work vehicle / shop and how you store all your tools and maybe show off some of your tools !
I noticed you push a lot of Z-Line products in your latest videos, do they sponsor this channel? If not, why do you guys seem to have such a brand loyalty towards them? I take your recommendations pretty seriously, that is why i ask.
Small home same as mobile home? Do you have a video of replacing or fixing mobile home door?
Sorry, but I learned absolutely nothing from this video. It is more like a 14 minute commercial for Zline. You should of titled it: Unboxing Zline kitchen appliances. It would of been more accurate.
Just wondering why yo still wouldn’t want an exhaust? All that steam and smells from cooking will permeate more without an exhaust fan. I guess you didn’t include it due to cutting energy use but I cant imagine it requiring too much as it’s only on for short spurts.
Anyway, great kitchen and I love, love that hidden induction stovetop, I’ve never seen it that way!
Hi Jeff. Great vid. We have a small kitchen and that’s given me some ideas. Cheers! 🤔👍
What is the thickness of the granite so the cooking process is efficient please ?
I built my kitchen with those doors. Not cheap, but they look nice.
Maybe a dumb question but, what bit are you using in your impact driver?
I need it even smaller 😜
Do you a video of installing a stove/oven combo?
Anyone else taking a drink every time he says brilliant? Lol
7:30 – Why don’t you require a hood fan? You still have the ability to boil water and/or burn things on the cooktop.
Oh there’s the good ole Zline again…nice stuff but pricey
I have been trying to join per my ipad unsuccessfully. Very frustrating!
Awesome job!
Any chance you could do a video on coffered ceilings?
Learning a lot!! Thankyou
Oh wow, I hate that microwave more than I should even care about it. The placement is horrible and I got annoyed with the slow motorized open/close mechanism even from the video. Do these people have a freezer somewhere that I didn’t see? I’m guessing they don’t really cook at home, If they do I don’t get this kitchen. Or is this like a weekend house? That would make sense.
Why wouldn’t an induction cooktop require a hood? Isn’t the purpose of the hood to suck away any steam/smoke from cooking? Or is this a case where a hood is still smart, but not required (by code) for the size of kitchen here?
