Thanks to everyone who has watched this video! Here’s my answers to common FAQ’s about the project:
What color did I use? Espresso
Where can I buy the kit? Online here: http://shwv.co/~kZX3 or at Lowe’s or Home Depot (be sure to get it tinted in the paint section before you leave!)
What other supplies do you need? Click here for a full list: http://shwv.co/~/JHqs8G01cUA
How many kits did it take? 1 small kit (but if you paint it a lighter color you will probably need two)
How long did it take to do the project: 4 days, here’s a visual breakdown of the painting schedule that I made for a later video: http://bit.ly/2ucEbFw
How is it holding up? There was some wear and tear, check it out in this “Cabinet Update” video: https://youtu.be/co1nj9LY6OY
Can you paint it white? Yes, 2 years later I painted it white! See that video here: https://youtu.be/svJfrtErnIE
Post any other questions below, I’m happy to answer them!

Did it only take one kit to do everything?

  16. onewaytosavetheday on November 21, 2020 at 9:30 pm

How was it possible you did all your cabinets with only one kit? I look at the can and then I look at the kitchen and it makes me a bit skeptical.

just came across this video, great job! they look amazing, one quick tip, put extension ladders on top of 5 gallon buckets or saw horses, then put your cab doors on them, much easier to work at waist height than down on the floor

They look great. I have also used that kit to refinish my mother-in-law’s trailer cabinets and they turned out bet ter than my cabinets shop ones that a professional did.
