A large upholstery needle would have worked with threading the twine on the cutting board. Or wrapping the end in tape.

Ohhhh I love this! I think I would like to make one and do the boho stencil on one side and then spell out maybe “hey y’all” or “hello” on the back for when I’m feeling like farmhouse!!!!!
