16 weeks to renovate a kitchen? Not normal. Sounds like an Over-improvement.

Woow I updated mine. I got a good stainless steel fridge for 1000$ , a glass top stove for 500$. Contact paper for 20$ for the countertops, paint 50$ for the cabinets, 50$ for walls. That’s it. You don’t need to spend that much to have a nice kitchen.

Wow! Realty check. That price was 5 years ago…hate to see what that same kitchen would cost today.

I am in the process of wanting to update my 60 year old kitchen. It is very tiny and would die of sticker shock if it is more than $10k for 5 uppers and 6 lower cabinets with granite countertop.

When you really able to spend 120k in a average size kitchen like that, you probably don’t cook that much. You need to work hard to paid it . Once back home, you will be too tired to cook and order takeout pretty often… . You just need a phone!

My cabinets were only 4200 at Ikea. Idiots

$125K for a cold-looking, uninviting, impersonal space. Is it even practical to cook in?

Why do people do this? It makes those of us, who want & are trying so hard to do a kitchen (or otherwise) renovation with a REAL budget in mind just want to give up. It sets such an unrealistic idea of what a person’s kitchen can look like, with just a little bit of this & that to work with… BS to the max! I knew as soon as I heard her say the word "client" I was in trouble, yet another unrealistic, impossable to achieve, misleading video for those of us who can’t possibly come close to doing, even those with a little jingle money can’t do a kitchen like this, much less ME! I’ll PASS! If anyone has a REAL kitchen redo…not like they just spent $60,000 & are calling it a "budget friendly" kitchen redo, then please upload your video, it’d be nice to see a REAL kitchen sometime.

    that’s ridiculous.

  16. Cleanwhipzautodetailing on October 27, 2020 at 12:14 pm

This is extremely unrealistic… instead of ever spending a 125k that’s money you can invest in another property that you can purchase like a cabin for winter etc depending where you live.

The mark-up on that stove is just stupid.

  18. Aneta Kudasik on October 27, 2020 at 12:16 pm

    Insane price

  19. Joe Shmo on October 27, 2020 at 12:17 pm

Has to be in California. I could build a 1400 sqft, full appliances/furnishes home on a 1/2 acre of land for 125k in cash.

  20. Jaime T Rubio III on October 27, 2020 at 12:17 pm

wow $30k just for the appliances!!!

  21. Joey pp on October 27, 2020 at 12:19 pm

It should not cost that much. It is insane to have $9500 fridge, and others..

  22. Tatyana Mig on October 27, 2020 at 12:26 pm

They should do one of these videos for real people who’s house costs about the same as that kitchen did.

  23. cocoboers on October 27, 2020 at 12:26 pm

Anybody who spends $125,000 on a kitchen, WANTS to spend $125,000 on a kitchen. That project could have been done for $50,000, in and out. Clearly, the designer was collecting a percentage of the products’ cost.
