    Hello Lisa,
I love the breakdown of styles, it’s really useful!
I just hace a doubt about this video, which are the differences between Traditional 2.0, Maximalism, Grandmillenialism and Neo-victorian?
    Thank you,

    Kin regards,

  2. Kathy Kaufman on December 3, 2020 at 9:54 pm

I couldn’t get through this the first time…but when I tried again and Lisa started showing rooms I loved but didn’t know why I loved them…it all started to make sense!

Trying to upscale a "Farm House" look toward an English Cottage. The mix of Fabrics is a huge problem for me. I’m sick of grey and white sofas…. but most upholstery is done in plain fabric in ready to buy fabric. Any ideas??

  4. FiercelySocial on December 3, 2020 at 9:59 pm

Yea, I’d love to know if midcentury modern is dead or soon to be, but please give it your breakdown either way! ❤️❤️❤️

  5. RAAC60 on December 3, 2020 at 9:59 pm

Help! Definitely need a better understanding of Transitional. Is it midway between Traditional and Contemporary??? I really appreciate your collage of photos illustrating your points and distinctions of the style. I need those for Transitional! Thank you!

Lisa …I’m a mess ! I am traditional 2.0 house but nothing flows in my house. I have modern tan leather sofa but have a china (cherry wood shelf ) with crystal and a library (dark wood shelf) . I don’t have sets of anything . I had my walls repainted in what should have been a light grey but the mix was wrong and I have light purple walls. It’s cute so I ran with it but when I step back it’s not so cute anymore . My living room opens to the dinning room, but it’s not the warm cozy feel I am looking for . What should I do ?

What style is Buckingham Palace? Also on a different note, anything that has a lot in it makes ME feel crowded like maximalism

Hi! I was wondering—if I have a fireplace with a window on each side which is obviously formal symmetry, does that mean everything else in the room has to be formal symmetry —ie 2 matching chairs etc? Please say no! 😂 PS I have a small space I’m working with.

Hi! I am doing a whole house remodel and your videos are helping me decide styles/material/aesthetics etc!

What is your opinion on “porcelain wood-looking tile? Is that a trend or something here to stay? I am strongly leaning towards that because I live on farm and our flooring take a beating! I do not want wood or engineered wood floors but I like the look of it. Is this a good alternative?

What are your thoughts? By the way, howdy from Texas 🤠

  34. Gabriela Monroy on December 3, 2020 at 10:26 pm

Would love to see Mediterranean tips. Most homes in AZ look cookie cutter Mediterranean. What can I do to add some originality, wood beams, etc. and attractive furniture that isn’t leather or iron.

  40. Over Comer on December 3, 2020 at 10:32 pm

You are my favorite You already know that I tell you every time. Anyway I would love to see an individual video on every type of style whether it Zen or glam or scandi or industrial or rustic or whatever with lots of examples telling us the textures the furniture style. Colors.
