Dave was disappointingly nice. Her decision to mooch off of her husband’s per diem is *especially* dumb because they have a child, not understandable because they have a child. (Although per diem is more than $50, so something is weird here). And he should have been put up in an extended stay hotel for an assignment of that length, which makes cooking incredibly easy. Her story isn’t adding up.

Whew. Dave smoked her behind! Good on ‘im!💪💪💪

Why work more when our government will pay you

  4. Will iam on October 24, 2020 at 11:14 am

$50 a day will feed a family, especially if you’re doing beans and rice … and chicken … learn how to shop and prepare food better, if you can’t feed your family on $1,500 a month – you are lazy and dumb!

  5. Dan Roberts on October 24, 2020 at 11:14 am

38k for a federal police officer living in Hawaii. He can’t take night gigs and has to travel from Hawaii to California with only $50 a day for food…yet they owe $2,200 in taxes? something just doesn’t add up…

  6. Bryan Abrego on October 24, 2020 at 11:14 am

    You’re traveling for a job that pays 30,000 ? 😂😂😂

  7. Danny Garland on October 24, 2020 at 11:17 am

So, why does he have to get a second job? Why can’t he watch the kids at night and she delivers pizzas? That way the kids get to spend some time with each parent every day instead of 24/7 with Mom and maybe they’ll see dad while he’s sleeping between his two jobs.

  8. Eric Daniel on October 24, 2020 at 11:18 am

It sounds like she was asking for a trick or an easy way out. Sorry – Uncle Sam expects to get his.

  9. Ryan Medlar on October 24, 2020 at 11:18 am

Why can’t she pick up a night job when the husband is home from work? Fifty dollars a day for food is PLENTY. I spent $75 on food every TWO weeks.

  10. Jason Wilkins on October 24, 2020 at 11:19 am

…I don’t get it…the food budget is enormous. Buy a hot plate or an electric skillet, go grocery shopping, and cook. She doesn’t have a job outside the home so cooking from home is not really out of the question. When we went on vacation to a cabin, we saved money on eating buy buying an electric skillet and going grocery shopping. Furthermore, they live in a hotel which almost always means you get at least one meal free (breakfast). She is just living up life eating out every meal. That’s the only way you feasibly spend that much money between a couple and a child when breakfast is free EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Why is it the husband’s responsibility to take the extra job when he’s already working a 40hr week and has to live away from home for parts of the year 🙃

  12. Keebler Elf on October 24, 2020 at 11:20 am

Why does the husband have to get a second job? Is the wife disabled? No…why can’t she get a part time job?

  13. kefkapalazzo1 on October 24, 2020 at 11:21 am

Just go in a payment plan not the end of the world.

  14. Quack Addict on October 24, 2020 at 11:23 am

It was irresponsible and entitled for this woman yo follow him for work like that. Get some self respect. Its only three months. You cant afford it!!

  15. Holly B on October 24, 2020 at 11:24 am

For 3 months? Move into a Residence Inn or something like that with a kitchen

  16. Christian on October 24, 2020 at 11:25 am

Caller: I stay at home rolling my thumbs. My husband works 40h a week.
Dave: Yes, your husband needs to start doing something… delivering pizzas at night…

  17. Christopher Gray on October 24, 2020 at 11:27 am

    In California?
I thought she was in Hawaii?
Does Dave have early onset of Alzheimer’s?

  18. RUDE BWOY on October 24, 2020 at 11:27 am

38k with kids, sounds like they are doing something incorrect. Should not be owing taxes with such low income

  19. JayRock E on October 24, 2020 at 11:28 am

You can definitely eat under $50 a day long term, just not at the hotel.

  20. Christian Arcos on October 24, 2020 at 11:28 am

  24. Shermaine Henry on October 24, 2020 at 11:33 am

Why is Dave saying HE needs to look for more work? On top of what he’s already doing while she is busy vacationing

  25. Christina Martinez on October 24, 2020 at 11:34 am

She needs to stay at home and get a job to help! She sounds so lazy.

Income tax is unconstitutional, period. Needs to be abolished.

  28. Christopher Gray on October 24, 2020 at 11:38 am

  31. DYLAN102001 on October 24, 2020 at 11:45 am

I have an idea, how about she get a job! Her first month will pay the deficit!

  32. Socrates92 on October 24, 2020 at 11:45 am

$50/day is $1500 a month. What does food cost in California?

  33. FortNikitaBullion on October 24, 2020 at 11:45 am

I cook with a crockpot in hotel rooms all the time. Even a microstudio hotel one time.

  34. Gunner_kek on October 24, 2020 at 11:51 am

If your husband is making 38k a year you cannot be a stay at home mom and expect to make it. God i cannot stand these women. Go find a part time job during the weekends or in the evenings but DO SOMETHING to provide extra income. Even if it’s just 12-16 hours per week. I would never allow my wife to be a stay at home mom if i’m making average or below average money.

  35. Michael Palumbo on October 24, 2020 at 11:51 am

Something is not adding up. NO WAY he only makes $38k as a federal police officer. NO WAY!

  36. SHR33 on October 24, 2020 at 11:52 am

Get a job!!!!!! You can’t afford the luxury to stay home. Night job weekend job home job. Get to work.

  37. Antoine Carey on October 24, 2020 at 11:53 am

They get a 50 dollar per diem for food every day who eates that much food in a dsy. Get hot plates microwave and minimize cost. The irs takes installation payments so their isn’t a real problem just solutions.

  41. Mike Doyle on October 24, 2020 at 11:55 am

Ask IRS for a 90 extension to pay over phone when u get first bill. Pay it in that time. Adjust federal withholding for next year.

  47. Elaine McMurren on October 24, 2020 at 12:07 pm

  48. Bob Wellington on October 24, 2020 at 12:07 pm

  50. Katerina kassiotes on October 24, 2020 at 12:09 pm

At 38k a year you still have to pay taxes? In Australia you don’t pay taxes making that much…
